Parmesan Garlic Crusted Asparagus

Ingredients

40 spears asparagus, washed and tough ends snapped off
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 ounce parmesan cheese, shaved in slices using a potato peeler
Salt & pepper
Balsamic vinegar

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

Place asparagus spears in a single layer on a baking sheet and drizzle with oil. Toss until all spears are coated. Sprinkle with minced garlic and cover with parmesan slices.

Bake in top third of oven for
12-15 minutes, until barely tender and cheese is melted. Season with salt and pepper.

Transfer asparagus to serving plates and sprinkle lightly with balsamic vinegar. Serve.
