Almond Paste Pears

Ingredients
1-3/4 cups sweetened almond paste
2 Tablespoons gf flour*
1 egg, beaten
Whole cloves
Powdered sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Butter a cookie sheet or use a silpat. Preheat an oven to 300 degrees F. In a medium bowl, combine almond paste with the flour and mix until well blended. Add egg and blend well. Break off small pieces from the stiff batter and form into pear shapes. Place a clove on the top of each pear cookie. Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool and sprinkle with powedered sugar.
Tips
*We used the Gluten Free Pantry’s Country French Bread Mix as a straight substitution for flour.
