5 Simply Sophisticated Cranberry Sauce Recipes

At our house, cranberry sauce is as much a part of Thanksgiving dinner as the turkey! From jelly-like preserves to sweet and spicy sauces, cranberry sauce is possible the ultimate condiment. Put it on sandwiches, throw it in salad dressings, spread it on toast, use it in drop cookies and scones, slather it on roasted turkey — cranberry sauce is basically universal. Here are 5 of our favorite cranberry sauce recipes to spice up your Thanksgiving menu!
All of these recipes are gluten free, milk/dairy free and vegan.
Cranberry Sauce with Port and Pears
Cranberry, Orange and Ginger Relish
Cranberry Orange Relish
Serves 4-6
1 12 oz bag of fresh cranberries
1 c seedless red grapes, halved
1 c pomegranate seeds
1 orange, quartered and seeded
3/4 c walnuts, chopped
1 box orange Jell-O
2/3 c sugar
In a food processor, process cranberries and orange quarters. Combine cranberry-orange mixture and remaining ingredients in a large bowl, mixing well. Allow relish to rest for at least 30 minutes before serving.
